Boys' Football - County Champions
Having won the District Football Tournament, our boys played in the County Finals this morning . . . and they won. Our boys are the COUNTY CHAMPIONS and we are so so proud of them.
It must have been the coldest day of the year so far but our boys played for nearly 3 hours in a series of matches against other district winners.
They now go through the regional finals where they are the school to represent the whole of Nottinghamshire - wow!
To be County Champions is a first in the history of KWS and we are so proud of the boys. This morning history was made.
Not only did the boys play with great team spirit, but yet again they represented KWS so well because of their true sportsmanship; for the support and encouragement they give to each other; for their appreciation and respect they displayed towards other teams and players; for being incredibly humble players.
Thank you to those parents and families who came along to support this morning and to share in this joy.
