Friendship
Friendship is the theme for our Year 2 Residential.
Experiencing adventures with our friends; working together with our friends; learning more about our friends; knowing how as friends we can help each other in times of challenge; making new friends; being together as friends; supporting each other as we move into the juniors into Year 3.
'Robin Hood' is situated just north of Ravenshead and is an idyllic setting in the middle of the woodland where we have sole use of the accommodation. We take our Year 2 children here for a day and a night.
What do we get up to?
Shelter building; woodland team-work games; exploring the Spider Cave; visiting the Bog Monster; stream walking; the annual Year 2
'Welly Wee' competition; a traditional camp fire where we toast marshmallows, sing songs, tell jokes, listen to stories and watch the flames flicker into the night sky in the woods.
