Having won the District Football Tournament, our boys played in the County Finals this morning . . . and they won.  Our boys are the COUNTY CHAMPIONS and we are so so proud of them.

It must have been the coldest day of the year so far but our boys played for nearly 3 hours in a series of matches against other district winners.

They now go through the regional finals where they are the school to represent the whole of Nottinghamshire - wow!  

To be County Champions is a first in the history of KWS and we are so proud of the boys.  This morning history was made.

Not only did the boys play with great team spirit, but yet again they represented KWS so well because of their true sportsmanship; for the support and encouragement they give to each other; for their appreciation and respect they displayed towards other teams and players; for being incredibly humble players. 

Thank you to those parents and families who came along to support this morning and to share in this joy.

Bring on the regional finals . . . watch this space!

The boys' football team were worthy winners in this year's district knockout tournament, The Payne Trophy.

As always, they were a credit to our school and we could not be more proud of their efforts.  Having come out on top against all of the schools locally, the boys will represent the district in the upcoming County Finals.

We have had much to celebrate with our Children in Need events in school today (Friday 15th November) and as a result we have raised an amazing total of £701.40 

A massive thank you and well done to everyone at Team KWS – the children for great Pudsy accessories; our families for their donations to  the tuck shop; the parents who volunteered to help at the tuck shop; Mrs Hounslow for organising today; the Office Team for counting all the pennies.
