The Yr3/4 Boys' Football Team were fantastic in reaching the semi-final of The Wilson Shield - a district competition held in the baking heat on Tuesday 8th May.
They were the better team in the semi-final but lost very unfortuitously. .
We are very proud of all involved - well done boys and well done Mr A for his hard work and coaching.
We are also very grateful to the many parents who came along to show their support - thank you.
On Thursday 3rd May the girls won the league as joint winners with Kirkstead and they are now through to the semi-final of the Knockout Cup.
We beat Hucknall National 4-1 to secure our 2nd league win in 3 years.
We beat Hillside 8-3 to progress in the cup.
We are so proud of our girls and continually impressed by their dedication, commitment and enthusiasm.
A huge WELL DONE to the girls and to Mr Cross and Mrs Staples for training and coaching them so well.
WOW and a huge well done to Mrs Chambers and our children in KS2 who have raised £400 in small change over the last 2 weeks.
Mrs Chambers has led this project to raise money for 'The Walk Centre' School in Kenya.
The money we have raised will provide the children with a new toilet block and enough food to feed the whole school.
Well done and thank you to all involved.
