  • Junior Choir Press Morning for Framework

    Sat 09 Dec 2017

On Wednesday 6th December our Junior Choir were busy again.

As you will already know, the choir form part of the Framework Charity Christmas Single 'Reach Out and Lend a Helping Hand'.  They appear on the single alongside our Community Choir and 300 other voices and musicians.

This morning was a press event organised by the charity, and the choir, along with the soloists, were invited along.  The choir performed the song several times on the tram from Hucknall to Nottingham Train Station and they performed it again in the main entrance to the train station.  Representatives from local TV news stations and local newspapers filmed footage of the morning.  A feature was then shown on BBC East Midlands Today, ITV local news and Notts TV on the Wednesday night.  There was also an article in the Evening Post.

When we have links for these features, we will post them on this part of the website.

The children were absolutely outstanding - in their singing, their behaviour, their enthusiasm and their manners and we cannot emphasise enough as to how incredibly proud we are of each and every one of them.  They sang their hearts out and they were such a credit to the school.

A huge huge well done to all involved.

  • Junior Choir at Hardwick Hall

    Sat 09 Dec 2017
On Sunday 3rd December members from our Junior Choir entertained visitors at Hardwick Hall.  They sang in the main entrance to the Hall - a stunning location.  The children sang beautifully and provided a  very Christmassy atmosphere.  A huge thank you and well done to the children involved and to Mrs Harman.
