SWIFTS
Swifts are not only important to us as a school because they are the birds on our school badge and they fly back to KWS during the summer months, but SWIFTS is our Kitchen Team at KWS.
SWIFTS means that Mrs Voisey and her wonderful Kitchen Team
Serve Wholesome and Interesting Food To School children.
Our SWIFTS menu is sent home by email every week to parents/carers so you can see what is on offer. All of our food is prepared and cooked on site by our Kitchen Team. Our food is sourced locally and provides children with a choice of dishes.
Our School Council meet with Mrs Voisey to discuss ideas from the children for special menus, such as our jacket potato and light lunch days.
We welcome parents/carers, grandparents and family members in to join their children for lunch. Look out on the newsletters for any special events, such as Fathers' Day Big Breakfast, Mothers' Day Afternoon Teas and other lunch dates.
We are really fortunate and grateful that not only do we have an amazing Kitchen Team, but we have enthusiastic staff from across the whole school who give their time and get involved with our SWIFTS events. The KWS Team certainly go 'Beyond Expectations'.
