Homework
The focus of homework is weekly spellings, reading and recording (in your child's Home/School Diary) on a regular basis and learning/revising Times Tables on a weekly basis. There is a space in your child's Home/School Diary to record comments about reading and record interesting vocabulary found in books.
Each term your child will be given a more creative/practical piece of homework set by the class teacher linked to a particular topic.
There will also be times during the year when we ask families to work on a project together at home, e.g. our annual Easter Bonnet and Easter Egg Competition. Such things are a nice opportunity for families to work together at home to create something to bring into school to share.
If parents/carers have any questions regarding homework, please ask your child's class teacher.
