OPAL Play Assistant 

7 hours 30 minutes (1 hour 30 minutes per day)

NJE Grade 1 point 2 - £12.65 per hour

Our Midday Supervisor’s form part of our OPAL (Outdoor Play and Learning) Play team and help support children’s well-being over lunchtime, one of the most crucial times of the day. As an OPAL Play Assistant, you will focus on helping the children to enjoy co-operative play and fun times, providing a safe and secure environment for all of the children in our school to thrive.

The role is varied and may include helping in the dining room, supervising children eating packed lunches, overseeing OPAL activities in the playground including, helping to build dens or supervising playing in the sandpit – it’s certainly never boring!

The role is suitable for those who genuinely have a passion for working with children and who are able to work during our lunchtime throughout term time. The OPAL Play Assistant role is very important to our school so if you are an enthusiastic and focused person, who would be resilient to the day to day variety of the lunchtime session then we would like to hear from you.
