Our music session will support our work on jungles and rainforests. These are habitats that are hot and wet.


Read through the poem together and find all the things making a noise. Colour the noise words and the amimals making them in the same colour. E.g. The mouse snuffling - colour both these words in blue; the birds tweeting colour both these in green.


After you have shared the poem complete the next sheet. Tell me are the noises in the poem loud or quiet, hard or soft? Can you also tell me what it sounds like - you might be able to steal some of the words from the poem. We have done the first couple for you.


We will use this poem next week to start composing.


You can also colour it carefuly if you have time.
